Elarya was called to the Bar in May 2023. Previously, she worked as a solicitor advocate for five years working in private firms, owning and operating her own practice, and acting as duty lawyer on behalf of Victoria Legal Aid.

Since coming to the Bar, Elarya has appeared at the Supreme Court, County Court and the Magistrates’ Court. She has experience in the following:

·         Trials

·         Appeals

·         Plea Hearings

·         Summary Contested Hearing

·         Bail Applications (Supreme Court and Magistrates’ Court)

·         Specialist Court Appearances

Elarya has previously read with Paul Kounnas and her senior mentor was Dr Felicity Gerry KC.
